Gift cards are delivered instantly once your payment has been fully settled.
If your payment has been initiated but not yet settled by your payment provider, your purchase may appear as pending. In this case, the gift card will be sent automatically as soon as the payment is confirmed.
What does a pending transaction mean?
A pending transaction means that Everup has not yet received the payment, even though the amount may already appear deducted from your bank account.
This happens because the funds are still being processed by your bank or payment provider and have not yet been released to us. Once the payment settles and the funds are received, your gift card will be delivered automatically.
How long does settlement take?
When paying via Open Banking, settlement can happen within seconds, but in some cases it may take a few hours depending on the bank.
Unfortunately, this timing is controlled by the payment provider and is outside of Everup’s control.
What can I do if my transaction is taking longer than expected?
If the delay concerns you, please contact our support team via chat or email us at support@everup.uk, and we’ll be happy to assist.
How can I avoid this delay in the future?
To reduce the chance of settlement delays, we recommend adding a debit card to Apple Pay or Google Pay and completing your purchase through your phone wallet. Alternatively you can also use directly your card with our Pay by Card option.
